What is the shadow self? ‘The Shadow’ is a term coined by Carl Jung, a psychoanalyst born in the late 1800’s.
The shadow is essentially the combination of our limiting beliefs and unhealed/suppressed emotional trauma, our inner shadow.
Left unchecked, The Shadow can be responsible for being the greatest impediment to a successful abundant life.
This world is a traumatic place to be incarnated into, however, dealing with the trauma accumulated throughout life (and childhood especially) is something everyone on the personal development journey can do!
Knowledge of self is true empowerment. ✅
Repeated patterns are usually great clues to parts of ourselves that are calling out to be healed. Observe them within and without, do the work to clear and transmute the trauma and we are well on our way to creating a better self, a better humanity!
