The Tai Chi Ball

The Tai Chi Ball is an excellent exercise that:

– Stimulates Qi flow, increasing energy levels
– Embodies your consciousness, assisting spiritual growth
– Stretches and relaxes tendons, increases feelings of peace, and clam
– Soothes nervous system, activates the parasympathetic nervous system
– Warms the body, builds up the practitioners store of Qi

This is a brilliant exercise for people who have had a bit of Qi Gong practice and are looking for a more advanced move to add to their practice.

Begin with your feet shoulder width apart firmly planted into the ground. Shake your hands and arms. Bring both hands palm up in front of the body. The objective of the Tai Chi ball is to imagine you have a ball in each hand that you must not drop – your hands must face palm up throughout the entire excercise. As you bring your right hand above your head and rotate the hand and arm in a circle, follow your right hand with your body. Then begin to move the other hand in the same way but to your left. Repeat the movement and ensure both your arms are in synch.
